PLANNING OF LOBBY of Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecure in Nis

In creating of the interior lobby of Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecure in Nis, University of Nis, significant fact was important purpose of the building, which includes a large frequency of people. Lobby as the most visited part of the faculty building, as part of the basis of which creates a picture of the building and that leaves the biggest impression, demanded a fancy-based architecture based on modern architecture.

The main guideline and the idea is the naturalness, focusing on the worship of the sun, nature, and repenting things happen in nature, such as volcanoes, glaciers... This is particularly reflected in the ceiling light with broken lines, the columns of which are covered with metal Knauf bars resembling that fittings accidentally forgotten, the grass that springs up in the floor or in the walls and even in furniture that is specifically designed for the needs of the lobby. White, gray, black, mixed with bold shades of yellow and orange. Associate with comfort, warmth or affiliations, and people who spend time in the lobby. Toolkits wood, metal, concrete, plastic, plenty of glazed surface, simple or high-gloss colors and interesting, always elegant and sophisticated timeless trend.

An important line creates a basic ceiling of chrome that looks like a wavy surface, a mirror in which everything has its reflection, special lighting in the cracks in the suspended ceiling. For the experience of a space and reaching the desired atmosphere of great importance the role of lighting. In addition to well-articulated natural light, artificial is a very important factor. Everyday lighting has given a new dimension, broken forms and futuristic look, which represent a major part of design intervention. Design that wants to amaze, delight and shock.
